FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it legal to follow politicians' trades?+

Yes. Under the STOCK Act, members of Congress must publicly disclose most securities trades within 45 days. Company insiders must report trades to the SEC on Form 4, usually within two business days. Ketos Capital organises these public filings; acting on them is your own decision.

Is this financial advice?+

No. Ketos Capital is an information platform. We show what was disclosed, link the original filing and add context. We don't know your situation and don't tell you what to buy or sell.

Where does the data come from?+

Political trades come from Periodic Transaction Reports filed with the U.S. House Clerk and the Senate. Insider trades come from SEC EDGAR Form 4 and 4/A filings. Every transaction links back to its source document.

How quickly do I see a new trade?+

We check SEC filings every 15 minutes and House filings every 6 hours. Keep in mind that the disclosure itself can arrive up to 45 days after a politician traded — we always show both the trade date and the filing date.

Why are political trade amounts shown as ranges?+

Politicians only have to disclose a value range (for example $15,001 – $50,000), not the exact amount or price. We never turn a range into an exact number.

What does the insider score mean?+

The score (0–100) ranks this week's open-market purchases by size, the insider's role, multiple insiders buying, size versus existing holdings, recency and Rule 10b5-1 context. The method is published and versioned. It ranks filings — it does not predict returns.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel in your billing portal with one click; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. The monthly plan starts with a free first month for new members.

Is there a mobile app?+

Ketos Capital works in any mobile browser today. Native iOS and Android apps are planned and will use the same account.
